UK bank accounts have an estimated £430 billion of UK consumer savings in them. According to a report from Barclays* after allowing for financial prudence, there is estimated £74 bn that could be released and invested into UK capital markets. The panel discuss what this would mean, and the impact it would have on UK investors.
