Oliver Court is Managing Director of London Cask Traders and has more than seven years of experience within the alternative investments and spirits markets.

During his time at London Cask Traders, Oliver has played a key role in growing the business into one of London’s established whisky cask brokerages, now working with more than 2,000 clients and facilitating the acquisition, management and sale of whisky casks from some of Scotland’s most recognised distilleries.

His experience spans sales, marketing, cask sourcing, client strategy and business growth, giving him a broad understanding of both the commercial whisky market and the practical considerations involved in cask ownership.

Oliver is particularly focused on making the whisky cask market more transparent and accessible, helping investors understand what drives cask values, the importance of provenance, storage and ownership documentation, and the role that age, rarity, distillery reputation and global demand can play in the long-term market for Scotch whisky.
